Wisconsin betting, as of this snapshot

Two layers get collapsed in headlines. Only one of them is a place you can bet in Milwaukee today.

Layer one: the room

In-person sports betting is offered by tribes on their casino property. In Milwaukee that is Potawatomi Casino Hotel. You are at the casino's age limit (18 or 21), you are on the property, and the house rules are the house's. That is the live product.

Layer two: the phone

Assembly Bill 601, signed 9 April 2026, says a tribal online book can exist once the compact work is done and the servers are on tribal land. As of 18 October 2026, that is an authorization, not a launched app. Treating a headline from April as a download in October is how people end up on a site this guide will not recommend.

What we will not do

We will not list offshore books, bonus codes, or a 'best app for Wisconsin' that does not exist yet. When the status changes, the date on this page has to change with it. Until then, use the retail page for the room and the online page for the statute.
